Return to Talos IV & Farpoint Prizes

by Charlie Plaine, Director of First Edition

3rd July 2020

Earlier this week, I had the privilege to share the Subspace Championship Series promos with you, for all three of our beloved games. Those promos will be available to players in all Subspace Championship Series promos events from now until the series ends in November. But if you're a fan of online play, you might know there's been another tournament series running since the start of the year.

Brian Sykes (Armus) has been running tournaments for First Edition and Second Edition each month, giving players a guided tour of the history of each game. For 1E, the Return to Talos IV series started with just Premiere era play and has progressed through such formats like the Golden Age 1999 and is kicking off an Enhanced Premiere Warp Speed event today. Similarly, the 2E Return to Farpoint series started with just Second Edition, has included a Fractured Time sealed and is hosting a "Worlds 2005" event kicking off today.

Well, we have some more promos for you - and what better than the titular missions for each series?

We'll be making these promos available to winners and some participants in all of these events, dating back to the start of the year. And as all of the remaining Return to Talos IV and Return to Farpoint events are also part of the Subspace Championship Series, you'll have chances to win these missions plus copies of those promos as well. That's a pretty great deal! Our Department of Organized Play will work with Brian to figure out the best way to award and distribute these prizes once they're printed and in the warehouse, so stay tuned.

And speaking of staying tuned... check back on Monday to see even more promos you'll be able to get your hands on in the back half of 2020!
