September 2021 First Edition Balance Team Update

by Charlie Plaine, Director of First Edition

6th September 2021

Welcome to the First Edition Balance Team update for September 2021. Continuing the summer of small updates, today's update is mostly catching up. Six (6) of today's errata are updates to alternate image versions of cards that were changed with the release of Official Tournament Sealed Deck Remastered. The other two (2) are virtual promos given errata to match the errata given to their original printings. Other than these updates, there are no changes to the Watch List or OTF Ban List.

Errata Updates
Most of the updates today are to make alternate image versions of cards in Official Tournament Sealed Deck Remastered match. Two of the cards - Armus: Sticky Situation and Reflection Therapy - were reprinted in Homefront VI. These AI versions are now updated to match the revised text and titles from OTSDR.

Likewise, the following four (4) cards were printed as Virtual Promos, and have now been updated with the newest text from Official Tournament Sealed Deck Remastered.

Finally, we have updated the text on the virtual promo versions of Temporal Shifting and Maxwell Forrest to match errata given to the original versions of those cards, both in Enterprise Collection Remastered. Specifically, an article "a -> an" was changed on the event and the formatting of the special download was changed on the admiral.

All eight (8) of today's updates are simply to bring alternate image versions in line with their original cards. There are no "new" changes in this update.

Regular updates to errata, the OTF Ban List, and the Watch List are scheduled for the First Monday of each month. The next scheduled update is Monday, October 4th, 2021. Currently, our plans are making it look like it will be a much more interesting and active update than those over the summer. See you then!
