Nah, I actually found it to have "established orbit" just fine.

(I'm back at heavily grinning, which to me, here, means: back on topic.)

Don't you just love it (after putting aside your ego
, which is a relative chore for almost everyone, incl. me -- but a very handy skill in many instances
), when you're annoyed by a perceived plot hole, and someone (
even 10YO Sprout
) fills it up for you just about enough to get your disbelief-suspension in gear again, so you can thereafter enjoy the medium better?

I salute your eye for detail and accuracy in filling said plothole! Go pitch an episode!

So I did manage to find 2 of the 3 "Baby Filter" pics of the various casts. I've also seen a TOS one but can't find it.

Sprout, who is 10, says the scenario is plausible. I’ve told him to Make It So!

You knowboth the arctics are nature reserves in spirit, if not in fact, right? Polar bears and/or penguins live there (depending on which arctic)? And you want to teach an innocent child it's OK to drop an enormous space vehicle on the planet (sparsely populated though the area may be), murdering those cute beasts? (Well... the bears do look cuddly from afar.) You know there are concerns about global warming -- and without good reason, you want to cause massive friction in the atmosphere, and possibly a M/AM explosion on impact... all to prove a point to Armus?

Please don't.

Edit: great stuff, Monty. I don't get the phaser one, and the Pulaski one brought merely a grin, but the rest were hilarious. Edit^2: No wait, the one about Kes sucked. I liked Kes, and was sad to see her go. It took me, literally, until last year to start liking 7/9 half as much as I liked Kes in the 90ies. So, while prolly true, I don't support nor like the sentiment in that one.

I now want to see the alternate universe where a Borg drone survived long enough to assimilate a penguin and try to escape.

Since the left side would be a nightmare to design zipper locations into, let alone pyamas or a stretch variant, I'll go with the right. (Though visually, they feel less like pants.)

Merry Klingons, everone! :cheersL:
