The latest AWOL did not go well for pretty much anyone. We got a good look at a new planet, accompanied by biting remarks from Peanut Hamper. Not sure who was demanding her story be followed up on but at least it got tied up. It was good to see our crew doing good work as a crew, including Tendi helping a friend.

There is precious little for draft purposes this week. Tendi was in the away team while Ransom and T'Ana were not. Also, Tendi did go outside her skill set with stopping peanut Hamper in the end. The points re:

Sequels can be a mixed bag. You won't always get a Course: Oblivion or Best of Bot worlds.

We ended up with a couple great revelations with Tendi wanting to explore the captaincy. We've seen diverse pathways to the captaincy before but we rally have not seen the medical field represented outside of Dr. Crusher and maaaaaaybe LaForge's dad.

Plus, the saga of William Boimler continues. The Cerritos has gotten a bit of the spotlight recently so these worlds will interact at some point.

With the draft, Rutherford fired phasers, albeit holographic ones. He and Tendi went outside their skill sets on the holodeck while Marienr and Ransom also went outside with helping a crew member in need. Finally, Freeman, Ransom, Shaxs and T'Ana did not go on an away team. Update is below:

The "Reporter Visits" can either be a truthful reporting or a trash job. This was both and left a bad mark heading into the finale. Speaking of which, with mariner having told the truth, reassigned, having been told the only flattering part on screen and going off outside Starfleet, we are set up for some fun.

Plus, canceling a pie-eating contest? The humanity!

In terms of the draft, Shaxs did not go on an away team while T'Ana, Freeman and Ransom did and all used phasers. With that, T'Ana goes outside her skill set. We'll see what happens in the finale as it is in theory anyone's game, but the points are as such:

Third season finale on the books and teh firt without callacbks to otehr series, at elast as far as teh talent is cocnerned. THsi wa a grat showing for teh California Class adn we got to ee teh fleet, both old and new. It si great that the series can stand on its own.

Rutherford got some clarity on what happened to him but with Beunamigo (awesome name!) dead, there is little clarity. Trendi got a new friend to paly with but while I like T'lyn, I'm not sure how it will work in this role. Is Starfleet the only option she has left? She was a last minute addition after the reaction to wej duj but is this the best use of her?

Mariner and Aberdeen were funded by Picard. Will he be continuing in the franchise past his namesake series?

The post credits scene will give you a clue as to where things will go in season four.

Mariner gets phaser points along with outside skill set and away team, which all four lower decks crew got. Shaxs was not on an away team and got to eject the warp core, outside his stated field. The final totals are below:

Congratulations to abargar7510 on the victory!
