The 2020 Return to Farpoint Series kicks off in February!

We're starting with some old school Constructed flavor, Worlds 2003 format.

This was the first 2e World Championship and only the Premiere and Energize sets were out at the time. Anyone who played in this World Championship and is still around today can probably attest how much the game has changed and evolved over the years, but for this event we're going back to basics (not to be confused with Back to Basics :P ). Let's see who can build the best deck from a card pool of less than 600 cards.

Will an old school player dominate with an old school deck? Will a new player who wasn't around back then figure out some new hot tech and show the old dogs some new tricks?

Only one way to find out: get registered today!

We're a few days away from kicking off this event and we have five registered so far. I'd love to be able to avoid the dreaded BYE - can we get a 6th? Or an 8th?

All current rules and errata still apply, only the card pool is throwback.

To do otherwise is to have cards in Lackey not say what they mean, and that's a recipe for confusion and sad times.

Trust me, as someone who has always opposed the Athos IV errata, I'd love to be able to tell you otherwise, but alas. :(

I dunno. Holding you off for 3 turns with Mopak is a pretty ghetto way to win.

I'm filing this one under "better to be lucky than good" rather than any particular brilliance on my part, but I'll still take it! 8)
