Greetings all!

Now that we're past the Regional and the Return to Talos IV (RTT4) series is back in action, it's time to preview next month's event!

Starting in June, we will be playing Golden Age: 2000. This will be an OTF Constructed event with a card pool of Premiere through Mirror, Mirror.

Building on their expanded license, Decipher released several products in the year 2000 that opened up all sorts of new factions and mechanics. 2nd Anthology gave us 6 really good personnel geared to support any number of different decks, The Trouble with Tribbles introduced the factions of and , as well as the Q the Referee mechanic and new cards to combat some of the worst strategies. Additionally, Enhanced Premiere gave us combo dilemmas and built-in outposts, cards that still see play in the modern game. Finally, Mirror, Mirror, released in late 2000 gave us the and factions, both past and present, as well as a small taste of that the most recent CC expansion, The Neutral Zone was finally able to develop into a fully formed faction playable in the modern game.

With so many deck options to try, we may need to run more than one of these to really see what all this meta has in store (and if it's as popular as the Golden Age: 1999 tournaments have been, we may do just that!)
