The 2020 Return to Farpoint Series approaches the end in October 2020.

In the series penultimate event, and the last Constructed gig of the year, we're visiting the twilight of the Decipher era with a full Traditional Constructed tournament. All of the cards that were made by Big D (Sets 1-14 and associated promos) will be allowed. This is one card pool that never got its own Worlds, as the last set, What You Leave Behind came out after the 2007 World Championships and the fist Virtual sets were out before the 2008 World Championship kicked off.

As a reminder, all RTFP events, including this one, are part of the 2020 Subspace Series, and as such are eligible for extra prizes. It's also not too late to get in on the action to qualify for the Return to Farpoint promo foil!

Anyone remember what was good in this era? I guess we'll find out in a week!

The event kicks off on next Friday (October 2nd, 2020).

If we get more than 8 people, I'll add a 4th Round.

I think I know the answer but I'm having a moment - cards from that pool with errata are played with the new text, right? Or are they as-they-were and we get all the broken Navaar cheese?

It's whatever the Lackey cards say, so errata is in force.

Game 1: Brian Sykes (Armus) vs. Maggie Geppert (JadziaDax8)
Game 2: Michael Van Breemen (The Ninja Scot) vs. Julius Melhardt (Clerasil ToB)

Round 2:
Game 3: Brian Sykes (Armus) vs. Michael Van Breemen (The Ninja Scot)
Game 4: Maggie Geppert (Jadziadax8) vs. Julius Melhardt (Clerasil ToB)

Round 3:
Game 5: Brian Sykes (Armus) vs. Julius Melhardt (Clerasil ToB)
Game 6: Maggie Geppert (Jadziadax8) vs. Michael Van Breemen (The Ninja Scot)

You can play any opponent in any order, whenever your schedules line up, but please try to have all of your games in by Saturday, October 24thm, 2020 if possible.

Good luck, everyone! :cheersL:
