Hello everyone!

I'm thrilled to return to the world of online tournament directing to host our online release event for the upcoming expansion, Showdown: Four Lights! And the best part is, because this expansion comes with 2 pre-constructed decks, you don't have to do any deck building! This will be your chance to pilot each of the pre-cons and see how they work, in a friendly environment.

Here's how it will work: We will be loading the 2 decks - [Fed] Chains of Command and [Car] Chains of Captivity - into Lackey. You will play both decks during the tournament, 2 times each. In round 1, the decks will be randomly selected during pairings. For each subsequent round, you'll play the opposite deck. (Just like the old Star Wars CCG tournaments.)

Because the tournament will be overlapping with the holiday season, there will be extended rounds to start us off. Here's the planned schedule:
Monday 12/18/23: Announce Round 1 Pairings
Monday 1/1/24: Announce Round 2 Pairings
Monday 1/15/24: Announce Round 3 Pairings
Monday 1/22/24: Announce Round 4 Pairings
I will happily work with you if extensions are required, as long as you are upfront and honest about scheduling issues.

I will purchase and distribute a tournament kit as prizes, per usual. However, if we have 6 or more players, I will add 3 additional promos from my personal collection. If we get to 12 or more players, I will add 3 more promos for a total of 6 bonus cards.

I look forward to seeing you all try out these decks against each other. Please pre-register if you think you are likely to be able to play!

I'm already double-booked with the Rainbow Sealed Talos IV finale and German Nationals - Online Edition.

Add in the holidays and that's more than enough to keep me busy, so I'm going to pass on this one.

I look forward to seeing the results though! :cheersL:

I may actually play in this in my first online 1E gig as it sounds super safe?

The deck lists will be know by the time this kicks off, so I think this will take a lot of the pressure of surprise off. Smaller card pools tend to be much less risky.

Personally, I'll be in Fiji for most of January so that's why I wouldn't be able to play.
