If I scheduled an online Lifesigns release event to start next Friday, would anyone join in?

Also, if I did, should we do a theme event, like Voyager-only? Or full pool? Maybe Voyager vs. Vidiians kind of like the Showdown and SSttR release events? LMK what you think.

I'd probably join as long as it isn't sealed. I'm flexible on the format.

I'll join. Also flexible on format. One suggestion I'd have is something we're doing locally next month. Not Voyager-logo only, but DQ missions only.

_______

As a side note, I've been working on a spreadsheet tool/log parser to help gatehr data about avergae game length, cards drawn, cards played, first player advantage, etc.

So if we do the tournament and people can post their logs (or PM their logs), I think I can help tell an intersting story of the event.

Organ Theft makes [Vid] immune to The Phage, so it seems fairly central to playing [Vid] to have to deal with that. Perhaps a cap on the number that can be included in a deck would be better.

It's what I do...

yeah i'll join. do we need a "four lights" play two decks sort of thing? or limit the pool? Sorry I'm answering your question by asking the same question you asked lol I'm just worried no one will actually play [Vid] because they'll all tech against the new cards

Here's my thought:

Run 2-3 events in the release achievement window. That should spread the meta out enough so that people aren't just playing [Vid] or anti- [Vid] and the achievement degenerates aren't locked in to playing an affiliation and getting a bunch of Mirror matches or facing nothing but sharks gunning for them.

I can't commit to that, though I will point out that MVB is running monthly online events for anyone looking play more online.

I'm interested, and have been working on a (Modern, Complete) deck.

I'd like to start this event on Monday. I'm torn on going Complete/Constructed/Modern or doing a Four Light release style event where you bring two decks to experience both sides of the new meta. Let me know what you you want to do. There is now a poll at the top of the page. Voting ends on Sunday.

Here's how it will work: We will be loading the 2 decks - [Fed] Chains of Command and [Car] Chains of Captivity - into Lackey. You will play both decks during the tournament, 2 times each. In round 1, the decks will be randomly selected during pairings. For each subsequent round, you'll play the opposite deck. (Just like the old Star Wars CCG tournaments.)
I didn't know what the four lights release format was so I went hunting for this. Posting here incase others are looking for it. I assume this isn't necessarily exactly the same.
