In the 1e equivalent of Monday Night Football, Sykes FW Barnes 100-0.

Looks lopsided, but he definitely made me earn it.

Good game, sir! Thanks for the post-game chat as well! :cheersL:

The people onboard however cared.... not that much, but there was care happening! :D
True. First Harvested, then Processed, then Captured... Regent Worf had a bit of a rough night!

So, a couple of notes going into round 4:

I just received a PM from @boromirofborg about round 2. He was reviewing his logs for that round and realized he played two cards in turn 1 that used his normal card play. He notified both @commdecker and I of the gaffe. I cannot say if this caused him to win, so I am letting the result stand.

Pairing for round 4 will be a little tricky. Both undefeated players are on the same side of the affiliation divide, so they will both play players who are at 2-1. In order to avoid people playing each other again, which apparently used to happen frequently in SWCCG, I bring you the following pairings.

I would greatly appreciate anyone checking my work. I don't think I've paired anyone who's played each other before. Everyone should be in their round 2 decks. Please try to have your results in by next Tuesday, July 23rd.

Updated to fis the issue with Paddy and Andrew. I think I'm ok this time.

KazonPADD and I played in round 1. However, I am going to be busy with family events this weekend starting Friday and so my ability to play in round 4 is limited to either Thursday the 18th or Monday the 22nd, both after 6 PM Central US time (UTC-5). Given this, I am happy to concede, allow another player not currently in the bracket to step in, or accept a mitigation otherwise recommended.

Apparently nothing got fixed and I cannot properly do this from my phone. I will try again in the morning, but I may not be able to pair without people playing each other again. If that's the case, then it'll go top to bottom by VP.

FWIW, the SWCCG rule was that no duplicate matchups could occur, but duplicate pairings of opposite matchups were OK.

For example, if Alice played Light Side against Bob's Dark Side in round 1, they couldn't play that match again, but Bob playing Light Side against Alice's Dark Side in a later round was OK.

In this case, Paddy can't play Mat in round 4 because they already played that matchup in round 2, but I'm not seeing too many other issues.

Even rounds are harder because half the field can't play each other, period. Probably a reason a lot of even baseline level sanctioned SWCCG constructed events back in the day ran 6 rounds (I'm NOT suggesting we do that here... unless everyone REALLY wants to... :shifty: )

Ah, I didn't realize that it would strictly always be opposite decks in pairings. Some of my deckbuilding choices were in preparation for a possible mirror match.
