5 Space. The only Variation was Steve with his Battle stuff.

The fifth Voyager Player has played his first tournament ever. It was quite a surprise that only one Starfleet managend to qualify.

Update 1E: In the first round of the Single Elimination Stefan de Walf defeated Stefan Slaby and Peter Ludwig won against Alexander Gutmann. Now the Munichs are playing the final...

BTW, the tournament page shows only four Voyager players (one has TOS)

Lower Decks is starting to challenge Peak Performance....

I'm glad Charlie has seen fit to make changes in Design. Phase II is still an overall success, but there were some big whoopsies.

Lower Decks had some VH1 Behind the Music dirt too, I'm glad I don't have to dig up skeletons.

Congrats Stefan!

I'm not sure if I know Jan, who won the 2E day one or not? If it's who I think it is, he's another good player. These results are hard to interpret... Slaby, Vlad, and Tobias would have got top 5 no matter what, and at least two of those would quite probably have played Voyager anyway*. It's more telling that Tobias decided to play 5SV, I would have thought he'd been playing Klingons after their success in the US.

Also, all the top players lost 2 games, and Jan's two losses were both to Starfleet. I'm still not convinced that 5SV is anywhere near overpowered to be considered broken, otherwise Daniil, inexperienced or not, would have had some success (his deck list isn't posted yet, though), although I will now concede that they should be looked at (and I know errata already are).

*looking back, Voyager has always been a popular choice for these players

Note to self...remember to build a deck without a huge gap in it, and maybe do some testing before entering into a continentals.

Two games where I may have been able to win if the deck had been built better in the first place, One was voyager and the other was Bajoran. Two other games I had no chance in. Interestingly one was voyager and the other was Bajoran.

Very enjoyable long day. Glad I came over to catchup with some old friends and make some new ones.

Even managed to win a 1e game in the OTSD tournament.

The Klingons on Day2 were without any Voyager. So it doesn't count against a to strong Voyager.
