8. Results are posted.

Biggest surprise to me was Carter bubbling out.

Thanks to Mike for running a great 2E event and to Ryan for running 1E this weekend. I had a great time all weekend. Thanks to Kris for the sangria after our match this morning.

I’m waiting for my delayed flight now. Also, the TSA guy knew his stuff. He asked me if I had cards in my bag before he even opened it up. [emoji38]

NACC:

Kris played Borg. Made some modifications for Day 2.
Ryan played Enterprise-E/Bajoran/Son'a. Huge deck. I don't think he changed anything.
Robin played KCA. Made a few tweaks between days.
MVB played [1E-DQ] [Fed]. He tweaked his deck slightly to remove guns and add Renewed Spirits.

Jon played Romulan free report salad.
Maggie played MACOs.
Lucas played [1E-DS9] Bajoran/Fed. Cool deck.
I played [1E-TNG] [Fed].

I finally made it home after a long travel day, and I just wanted to thank Mike Shea and all the local players for putting on an amazing weekend. You made this old man feel welcome and part of something special. Thank you.

Hey, Sykes, how did that scouting report you put together for Robin go? I'm sure it is a cool story. Totally inaccurate, but a cool story.

Most of the deck lists are posted now. Sutton played his latest version of the super speed Fed / Maquis "free report salad" deck he has excelled with, and Jon countered with the latest version of his Romulan "free report salad" iteration.

I will echo the thanks for an amazing time in Atlanta. Mike Shea was The Man this weekend running events, and the bevy of CC members, ambassadors, and volunteer T.D.'s all chipped in to keep things running smoothly. Truly a team effort. I am proud to serve this organization, and even prouder of the folks whom make up our community.

P.S. Mags, again, I am really sorry about how our match went down. Borg are definitely not super fun to play against, and your MACO's kind of ended up as collateral damage. I hope I can make it up to you, and that you will stick with 1E long enough to claim vengeance. See you in Chicago soon!

Not totally inaccurate, I correctly put MVB on [1E-DQ] [Fed] shuttle drop.

I also said that you were the type of player who built efficient solvers that weren't afraid to pick a fight, so if that's inaccurate.... [shruggie emoji]

LOL, I am just giving you the needle a little bit. This Borg deck did not attempt missions really at all. Full on Eliminate Starship(s) and Assimilate Counterparts / Species for much of the game.

We all had a great laugh at the start of NACC Day 1 when Robin claimed you gave him the scouting report on me and I asked if the report contained 20 year old data (i.e. the last time I played Borg in 1E.) Then when he and I paired round 3, Robin saw me cut to a Borg Queen and ask if that was in the scouting report. :P

I also correctly put Carter on Romulans, but given the level of success he's had with them, that wasn't much of a stretch.

You're right that I didn't have you on Borg - I had you on KCA - but I figured SOMEBODY would bring Borg and tried to help Robin prepare accordingly.

Congrats on the win. It was clearly well-earned. :cheersL:

That wouldn't have been hard since I had told you what I was going to playing.
