The Continental Championships will return to the greater Twin Cities area in 2022 with the main events happening at GameZenter, formerly Fantasy Flight Games Center in Roseville, Minnesota. A full announcement article will be coming this week, but to simply get the info out there the schedule will be as follows:

Saturday July 23rd @ 10:30 a.m. - First Edition Continental Championships
Saturday July 23rd @ t.b.d. p.m. - Tribbles Continental Championships
Sunday July 24th @ 10:30 a.m. - Second Edition Continental Championships

We hope you will consider joining The Frozen Chosen for this year's NACC's! :cheersL:

Great. Thanks for posting the dates. My oldest son wants to go with me to an event this year and he can't make worlds since it is during the school year.

I'm looking at travel options. Will there be any events the evening before?

Most likely. Historically, we have had a gathering at Fallout Shelter Arcade for some non-trek fun but I imagine this year we may just get together for casual pick up games of STCCG / general gaming. We have a pretty good group of adjacent friends / spouses who do not play 'trek but do play board games, and it might be nice to just have some sort of pre-Continentals event loosely scheduled. Stay tuned.

Hey Kris,

Not to get your hopes up, but, there may be a remote possibility that I (and perhaps up to 3 of my MtG playgroup players, Tony, Jeremy, and Austen) could make the Trek down from Fargo for this. We’d have to get a hotel if we do as Benny’s going to be out of town (and the state) for a buddy’s wedding that very weekend. My apologies, but, with regards to both editions, what errata or bans or rules changes must we know about that have happened in the last two or three years as I’ve been out of the loop mostly…and would need to educate my relatively inexperienced players?

Also, said indicated article doesn’t appear to be posted yet…?

All three events are now in the system and I am working on the article today. Links to the events to pre-register are cited below. Errata and rules questions need to be directed at their respective game leads, as I am just here to run these gigs. :wink:

Just bumping this one up as we are about 6 weeks out. I hear there will be a number of out-of-town invaders such as MVB, Robin, Maggie, Brian, and Matthew. Will the Frozen Chosen be able to turn back all these neerdowells? Or will one of them ascend the Continental throne and leave piles of stiff corpses in their wake? Tune in to find out!

Are you coming to Continentals but not interested in playing First Edition? Well, the 2E Side Events are now in the system. These will be running alongside the 1E Continentals, ideally with something for everyone before we all converge on the most important title to be awarded on the weekend - our Tribbles Champion. :D Check out both the sealed gig and the constructed gig below:

2E Constructed - https://www.trekcc.org/tournament/index ... ntID=12145

Putting out the call for someone to bring a laptop, a microphone headset and a USB to USB extension. I can bring a camera with its own built in mic.

My idea: To stream a feature match each round and provide live commentary.

Who's got the goods to help me out? @jadziadax8
@BCSWowbagger
@LORE

I can bring my laptop. I have the logins to the CC Zoom channel for live streaming anyway. I think my headset mic is dead, Jim.

Excellent! Please bring them. I will hunt down the USB to USB extension.

We're gonna make this work!
