Hello players of the persuasion,

one of my favourite memories of playing 2E was a Rainbow Sealed at one of the German Grand Prix events in which we were given one of every booster available at the time,
At Worlds next year, I would like to take a trip down memory lane and run a similar side event using exclusively original Decipher printed cards. Here's the pitch:

A few things:

1) The exact details, like the ratio at which you can trade cards with The Fence, which boosters will be given out when, or if any other cards need to be exempt from the "play as printed" idea, are still to be decided. If you have any suggestions, please sound off!

2) Sealed material/max. number of players: right now the bottleneck is Premiere (both Starter decks and boosters). I have several sealed starters available, as well as some starters assembled from spare cards that will be packed with 3 random Premiere rares, but currently I only have material for 12 players from set 1. I would love to have material for 16 or more to give as many players as possible a chance to join this, so if you can assemble a starter - of any affiliation - from your spare cards and maybe can bring/donate a Premiere starter, that would be fantastic.
max. players will probably be 24 (since I only have that many of TATV and Reflections).

3) If there is enough interest, we could run this either on Friday afternoon (maybe even as a "First Chance Friday", meaning the winner of this would earn a spot in Day 2 of the 2E World Championship, as was done in 2023), or Sunday morning (parallel to the Day 2 games of 1E/2E). If you have any preferences, let me know!

Would anybody be interested in this? Or is this stupid and you would rather do ID Draft? Any feedback is appreciated!

I do not know yet if I’ll be attending (work is busy that time of year, passports for family).

But I ran a sealed event for both 1e and 2e at worlds this year (Protowarp) was what we called it.

I have enough printed to support 14 players and will be expanding it with more by then. I’m happy to see about freight shipping it over if interested.
