I know you've considered making this program open-source in the past. Any more thoughts on that?

As far as I know, Andrey never had any intentions to make it open source. Currently, the main cause of delays is that he doesnt have Delphi installed on his desktop.

I'd like to have a crack at porting to Linux. What have you written this in? And can I get the source? (sourceforge links to an empty repository)

I works just fine with Wine/Crossover. I wrote it in Delphi. And my source code is such a mess, i don't think that it deserves to be opensource But if you wish i can publish.
