If I only have Klingons with the [AU] icon on my Alliance Vor'cha: "This ship is attributes +1 for each different affiliation among your [AU] personnel aboard (limit +3)", does the ship get any boost in stats? My guess is that it will get a +1 boost for the Klingon affiliation. However, the word 'different' makes me wonder if having only one affiliation on board makes a difference.

“Different” is probably redundant here. If you have 1 affiliation on board with yellow dots, it’s +1. Also note that it doesn’t matter whether that one affiliation is [Kli]; “different” in this context doesn’t mean “different from the ship”. (I checked with Amber early in the process and she said this wording does what I wanted it to do.)

I've been contemplating recently whether that +1 would justify swapping the standard Vor'chas out of my regular Klingon decks. Cost 6 vs. cost 5 is what made me stick with the original one so far.

Yeah we’re good at costing stuff. We didn’t want it to be strictly better.

I think so too. Especially in a full KCA deck where you can easily get it up to Range 10 and go back and forth to a span 3 space mission.
In a full Klingon deck though I think I'd stick with the classic Vor'cha.

Yeah but even in regular Klingons you could get it to 10 range for the one turn you need it to be with like Worf + Molly home. Molly home proliferation is good for business.

I'd pay 6 for a ship I could reliably get to 10 range. That's a gus deal.

It depends on contex I guess. Under the right circumstances I'd even pay 7 for that. With Klingons however, as long as nobody comes up with a better space mission than Provoke Interstellar Incident, there's just no need for Range 10.

Yeah beating Cosette In engagements is satisfying.

Yep. But the standard Vor'cha and PBS do that just fine

I thought about using War Without End with the Alliance Vor'cha. Then I realized Bah! is cheaper and does the same thing.
