With a set focused on battle, I wonder if/how the strategy of stalling at the HQ to counter battle will be addressed? Or if that is just something people need to deal with?
Ooooo! Maybe I can finally make my [Car] / [Fer] Kotra/Tongo Madness deck work out!

Hmmm... Kraxon + Dolak = Discard 7-9 cards per fight.

Combine that with a kill pile and that might be enough to at least pump the brakes a little on these speed decks.

I'm trying to figure out if this would be a good answer for the Cardie solver nonsense that MVB has popularized this year.

Probably not because Back to Basics. But if you manage to mill a couple of those Interrupts, you at least know you don't have to play around up to 3x per attempt. Tacking Into the Wind is another popular bad card like Metron Arena that made the discard pile count much less, so you have to deal with that too. All 3 of these cards suuuuuck and can be played in any deck.

Don't get too excited. It's still too easy to avoid engagements.

Kraxon plays both offense and defense, which is interesting.

I'm envisioning someone pulling a combo with Dominion to Crippling Strike a couple ships out at one mission and then send the Kraxon to burn a serious pile of cards.

Also could see this getting paired up with a lot of cards that would make your opponent want to have multiple ships in play.
