Okay. That was a clickbait of a subject line.

I was doing some work recently and thought about the Archive (A) rarity foils in Strange New Worlds, To Boldly Go, Captain's Log, These Are the Voyages, In a Mirror, Darkly, and What You Leave Behind. It's definitely an interesting selection sometimes. I mean, Where No One Has Gone Before is a choice that has stood the test of time, but maybe not as much for Code of Honor or Proximity-Actuated Field. If you had to pick the foils for those sets, which would you pick?

Let's start with Strange New Worlds. I don't want to enforce any rules on the exercise, but I imagine you would want to have a sampling of as many affiliations as possible, at least one of each card type available, an even spread of image sources (so no one can say, "They always give DS9 the shaft and that's my favorite!"), star power, and images that would look good foiled. Not to mention, this is the Ferengi debut, so they probably get a bigger than normal share. But also, maybe not. Maybe you just want all the [Fer] and [NA] cards. So, with the gift of hindsight, what would you do? The rares are: (Decipher's picks marked with [SD] .)
