Long answer: The TNG/DS9/Voyager era was by far the longest continous timeline we had in this franchise. There was a lot more room for characters to explore different adventures within that timeframe, which is why we have many characters crossing boundaries into different affiliations.
Enterprise was far from that. Not only was it a new starting point for the franchise, but many of the pre-existing affiliations hadn't been discovered at that point in time. The Starfleet characters from the Enterprise era existed in a very tight box which gave their creators a lot less room to explore, let alone the fact that Enterprise had 3 less seasons to develop their characters than the other shows.
Disregarding all of that, I want a Trip Founder
