By now y'all saw that pudding will not be the coolest thing in Yorkshire next year.

Paddy is an old hat at making a bitching rollicking First Edition events with fireworks and such, but he wants to know what kewl things to do for Second Edition Side events. Let him know in the thread and I will send the messages to him telepathically.

2E starter + packs is rather boring compared to 1E sealed. One of the best parts of sealed is using cards you don't otherwise play.

At Orlando we ended up not drafting (fixed starter + various packs) due to time constraints. I don't think that drafting would have improved it. Perhaps virtual draft would be more interesting with a broader cardpool for more interesting games.

@sexecutioner and I once drunkenly played a game of 2E in the manner of 1E. It was hilariously bad, but also strangely compelling.

London 2e folks are making noises about their Biermeister years being behind them... and I don't drink at all really, but I could take a night off .

Something that worked well in Sydney in 2015 was "trek in the pub", which was just a normal event held in a nice pub. Normal-ish... it was Cool, IIRC @The Ninja Scot brought a deck with no ships.

Alternatively, I know someone who has a 30-minute format that could be used to fit in a few games in a small amount of time

Yes....what do I do to print cards lol. I have none....do I just print on card stock and sleeve them??? How many decks is ideal to bring? Finally any other tips
