It's Wednesday! We're more than halfway through the week. Since we are over the hump, let's look at a question!

As someone who loves to comb through data, I love looking at card usage stats for recent sets. I have a series of articles around that theme, and the latest set is no exception.

Second Chances has seventeen cads, one of which s two sided, and Nesting Symbiote takes the prize for zooming out of the gate, being in four decks since the release. The second sheet, cards 9-17 has gotten a little less attention and no frontrunner has emerged in terms of popularity.

While it is still in the early goings, let us know in the poll above which card will take the crown? There are some high level events coming down the pipeline, so we will see hw things bear out, but at this stage, which is your favorite? You have a couple weeks to vote and revoting is allowed, so be sure to let us know your reasons for having a best of the best.

It boils down to TOS vs. TNG vs. The Field.

True, she has the potential to go in more decks (including the aforementioned TOS and TNG), but would she? She's as good/a little worse? (+1 Strength, -1 skill) as Pran Tainer, and he's probably had his day in the sun for Standard, only appearing in two Standard decks in the last 6 months (the rest being Draft, Limited in some fashion, or Sealed).

Plus, taking into account those specialised HQs, she probably won't appear in a Bajoran, Borg, Cardassian Dissident, neuDominion, neuneuDominion, KCA, Khan, Maquis, or Relativity deck, which reduces The Field considerably.

Obviously Hawk and Spock report to a far smaller number of HQs, but I wonder if those HQs (and the deck types that arc off them) are more popular than the HQs and the types of decks Honey can appear in.

Looking forward to a little down the road to seeing how this pans out.

Caveat noted.

If one looks at formats where all the above are available, I still don't think she'll pip the blue chaps.

Not sure if they really will be played, and what their effect is on time spend during turns, but I like the concept of Zero One and One Zero of cleaning up your deck/dilemma pile once you know what your opponent is playing, or maybe later in the game adapting to the game state.
