It's Wednesday! We're more than halfway through the week. Since we are over the hump, let's look at a question!
The hottest new game on the market is Lorcana. Based off Disney properties, this game is big out of the gate. There is huge demand, especially considering the game is not on the market. There are printable starters around the internets and everything.
One deckbuilding tool used is that you can have three copies of a card in your deck, not just what we would call the subtitle. Under these rules, you can have up to three copies of Jean-Luc Picard, Starship Captain and three copies of jean-Luc Picard, Principled Maverick, for example.
I will note that this is not on the table. In fact, I'm pretty sure this is at beast a bad idea. It is not a slam dunk, and could dilute your deck, but this can get a bit too chaotic real quick, and that is not taking into consideration the top players in the community.
This week, tell me what you would do if you could stick three copies of each card and not title in your deck. How far can you break this? Feel free to give the nightmare scenario to show us just how horrible this is. Presume that uniqueness still applies and if you have your Principled Maverick in play, you cannot play your Starship Captain at all.
