It's Wednesday! We're more than halfway through the week. Since we are over the hump, let's look at a question!

It turns out that I have some transferable minutes from my time machine left over from last year.

It turns out I have enough to change some uniqueness. Specifically, I can go back and make a non-unique card unique. To balance out the universe, i need to make a unique card non-unique.

Let me know which cards should switch uniqueness? Personnel? Events? One of each? Give us your best argument for each.

Note that I'm not going to have much luck making a Picard non-unique. Likewise Earth or any other mission. Some things time travel just won't fix.

I would say any of the non-uniques that are ubiquitous enough to have been nominated for HoF but (so far) have failed to get in (e.g Tozara'kesh, Kahmis).

Kahmis is retired, bro.

I clearly haven't looked at the list for my nominations this year yet!

I remember when Orfil Quinteros came out. We were still doing speculative card lists at the time, and one of the hints was that there was a personnel who would make you think he was supposed to be unique. So, I still think of him as the guy who should be unique.

Making a unique into a non-unique is simultaneously more difficult and more boring. We’d likely be looking at a very basic personnel, who we wouldn’t care all that much about become non-unique.

Edit: Varria, perhaps? I don’t think anybody would bat an eye at being able to have three copies of that card in play.

I don't think removing the • on Elizabeth Cutler would cause any concern.

Same for Larson maybe?
