It's Wednesday! We're more than halfway through the week. Since we are over the hump, let's look at a question!

In the U.S., we're about to start a major holiday. A not insignificant number of us are off on Thursday and several of us are also off on Friday for a four day weekend! This is typical for cookouts, Barbeques, fireworks, hanging out with friends and general having a good time.

So this week, tell us what's your go to fun deck. Not something you are majorly competitively tier 1 but something you'll just have a blast playing. Not something technical, something a bit more loose. let us know what is your deck you just enjoy playing.

Easy Starfleet. Not the Damaged lot, just the pre-Delphic, tentative steps into space, doing the attribute<32 missions in the AQ.

Just a relaxing, fun easy play.

Notulans. It’s my signature deck, a [Rom] deck with no Romulans. It uses [Rom] Klingons, Remans (including Shinzon), Androids and assorted high-strength [NA] personnel. Depending on the situation, it can either drop a lot of cheap personnel fast or it can try to complete missions with four (or in one specific situation, three) personnel.

Edit: One reason I love that deck is because it was partially inspired by an attempt to use Archive Portrait cards. AP Shinzon and OG Viceroy have all the skills for Remus. Persis and The Pendari Champion provide 2-cost high-Strength. And Stripped Down turned out to be more than just a cheeky picture.

Been thinking about this some more. One of my favorite stupid fun decks was Treacherous Bajorans Collaborate with Zefram Cochrane to Shoot You in the Face Mk II. I built it off a random comment someone made when Zefram Cochrane's Shotgun came out. It doesn't win much, but it's fun to play with when you can get all the Artifacts out and pick a fight with Zefram Cochrane, Breaking History.

Other fun archetypes are Romulan capture and Klingon Tribble Bomb (although that one turned out to be good and fun!)

I would say it's my Wheel of Fortune deck, which I actually played in my first ever online tourney. It uses the first function of Pillar of the Community to put expensive cards on top of your deck, Smarmy Quark as an additional draw engine, Aluura to make sure that that the card placed on top more expensive than whatever your opponent has, and Mardah/Xhosa to cycle. Then once everything is rigged and cheated, racking up the points with Tongo. Its not good at doing much other than scoring 5 points every turn, but it's very satisfying once it's up and running!
