My Kraxon staffed with Dolak, Dukat and Jasad moves from my Terikof Belt to a mission with an opponent's ship. I also have Political Leverage on table.
Can I first use Political Leverage and then the text from Terikof Belt to start an engagement and discards cards from opponent's deck?

Or does the text from Terikof Belt go first then Political Leverage?

Political Leverage does not go on the table. It plays during the Play and Draw Cards phase and then destroys itself.

Totally nitpicking question. Where is it when it destroys itself? By which I mean, where does the game think these events are?

Not in hand or core, or on a mission. But since we don’t really have a stack, where is the event existing to be destroyed?

They are 'not anywhere' as per the rules:

Events are usually played either in a part of your play area called your core, or on another card, as indicated in the game text of that event card. Sometimes they are not played anywhere, but have an effect and are then destroyed.

I guess they're just like interrupts, by with a counter cost.
