So First Edition has a new set coming out. There are five main themes in it, all of which have been covered in some manner in Second Edition. This week, let us know what you would most like to see in Second Edition.

This is just to gauge general interest. I am not sure what these would look like in Second Edition but some (Royale Casino) are a little more forthright than others (Remove from the Game).

The poll above will run for roughly a week. Revoting is allowed, so let us know which peaks your curiosity the most.

Nothing is in the pipeline, just interested in feedback.

We already have RFG matters in 2E.

Twilight Starfleet in 1E is a port from the Displaced crew in Allegiance.

Terok Nor can care about dilemmas removed from the game as developed in A Time to Stand.

We could also say that the new milling theme with is reminiscent of the mill decks.

I think in the isn't really as special in 2E as it is in 1E, since it's easier to move between quadrants, especially if you have Expedient Opportunity.

I suppose new cards to support /[Car] Comfort Women decks could be cool, but with the power level of current Cardies development of that theme would need to be very careful.

So, of all of those, I chose more Royale cards, even though I don't much like Royale Casino: Craps. (I've stopped stocking it because it never works for me and always works against me.)

I voted for the AQ in DQ, but that would have to look very different in 2E then 1E.

Because 2E doesn't really care about cross-quadrant the same way, I view it as an interesting starting point for the question of What If?

What If instead of Voyager, it was a Galor in the DQ? How can we replicate the Voyager experience in 2E for cardassians.

And conversely, how can 2E represent the idea of Voyager "giving up" and settling on a planet instead of continuing on.


there's some interesting design space there I think.

I agree interesting, but the former would require a lot from Art to make (given its non-canon-ness).

I think the thing is, even though the 1E stuff branches in the realms of What If...?, it's still all onscreen stuff (like the Battleship crew is like a What If... the Feds were still at war with the Klingons?)

In answer to the original question, I'd be down with a suite of casino dilemmas and synergistic personnel.
