Can someone please give me info on Parek , Privileged Legate from These are the Voyages. I haven't seen a non-foil version, yet it isn't an Archive Foil from that set. When looking at the card on the TrekCC site, it lists the card as a foil https://www.trekcc.org/2e/index.php?mode ... ardID=2710 when it doesn't list that for any of the other cards in the set.

Just wondering if this was put out after the original set or why it is different?

Parek somehow got left off the print sheet for the set, so he was never printed as a regular card. Only the foil promo version of him exists.

I then get an email from the guy that bought them, it was the actor Mark Correy letting me know that he didn't even know his image was on a card and he'd take anymore I get in.

Just figure you guys would get a kick out of that.

A friend of mine used to be married to one of the prop guys or something on Star Trek. She ended up being a background character a couple times, including Janeway's double in a couple shoots. Her moment of glory was Tripp's sister as recreated by the CC card Tormented Dreams.

I had a similar experience at a convention where an obscure actor that played a Klingon character was appearing. He had never even seen his image on a card and said he didn't actually have ANYTHING that showed him in the part. Fortunately, I had brought several copies of the card and gave them to him as a token of friendship. The man was very grateful to have them and offered to give me his autograph for free. I thanked him but declined his offer and paid his fee as I normally would. For a lot of these actors, these conventions are the only source of income they have. Bottom line is, he was happy and I felt good about doing something nice for someone.
