So, I am a purest when it comes to my collection. I want to collect one of every card type produced. So I noticed in my Starter Deck II premium cards that I currently have three sets of the eight premium cards. What I found odd was one set had a copyright of 1998 while the two had a copyright of 2000. I have never heard mention of a Alpha and a Beta printing of these.

You can see on Wayback Machine Archives of Decipher's website that Starter Deck II's were released December 1998, Wixiban confirms that with the release date of 16 December 1998 but then states the copyright line of 2000. The cards otherwise look identical so I don't see any other corrections.

So does anyone know any information about why the reprinting in 2000? Is one more rare than the other?

Iirc the second anthology box had the starter deck Ii wirh copyright 2000 in them. Maybe they ran out of the 1998 ones.
