I'm seeing Piles and Stacks and Compartments and Nations of Tribbles under people's names on their forum posts. Where are these Tribbles coming from and how did they get there??

I'm assuming that a single tribble got into our grain stores, and it just went from there. If you need further explanation on how that works, you should probably talk to your father.

Either answer is acceptable and both are helpful. Is ranking determined by the number of posts on the forums or some other form of measurement?

I'm just guessing here, but, I bet it has to do with how many Tribbles the player/poster has bred, thus far.

Just sheer number of posts. The rank has been there since the boards started, people just don't tend to notice until Charlie changes up the titles (which he does every year or two). Last set I think was Starfleet rankings, before that we had Borg Designations at one point, and I think Romulans sometime... I don't remember all of them. Just fun to change things up once in a while, that's all. But really, it's entirely meaningless.
