Regional applications are now open. Please note that late applications (those that come in after Regional season officially starts on March 30th) may be considered at the discretion of the Department of Organized Play, but applicants are encouraged to apply before then. The application process is very easy. First you will need to pay the Regional application fee. Each game requires a $20 application fee (all values are in US dollars.) You’ll pay those fees in the Promenade and use the requisition number as part of your application. Additionally, player groups who find the application fee to be burdensome can request a fee waiver for one of the games. We have a limited number of these waivers available to us, and we will apply them on a first come, first served basis.

Once you purchase the Regional application fee, please send the following information to your Organized Play Continental Coordinator. Please send a separate application for each game you wish to host.

Are you unsure of your continental coordinator? Well, this should help you out:

Australia: For this year contact the Director of Organized Play, Kristopher Sonsteby (LORE)
Europe: Julius Melhardt (Clerasil TOB)
North America: Michael Van Breemen (The Ninja Scot)
All Other Countries/Regions should submit applications to Kristopher Sonsteby (LORE)

Finally, once your Regional is approved, you will be able to buy the prize kit. The kits for First Edition and Second Edition each cost $10 and Tribbles costs $5. The application fee and the kit costs are divided to help lower the customs burden for organizers outside of the United States. The total cost of First Edition and Second Edition events is $30; the total cost of a Tribbles event is $25.

That’s it! The full Regional schedule will be announced soon and will be updated as additional applications roll in. We will try to keep a running list of approved applications in this thread so that people can start planning their trips to various Regionals. It is especially important for people whom hold their Regionals in early April to apply early so this information can get out to a wider audience as soon as possible. The sooner you apply, the sooner we can ship you your kits! Let's all get going down The Road to Worlds!

LORE wrote:Just a heads up that a Regional schedule article is coming. I finished it last night, but we have hit a formatting snag that seems to have deleted June's events. I'm confident once our IT wizards look at it, the "as is" version of the article can go up. Once we get the bugs worked out, I'll reincorporate June events as the article gets updated with new events.

Apologies for the delay on this one, especially to the folks whom have events on opening weekend. Updates to the OP Guide took priority over the past few weeks.
Looks like the Regional Schedule article has finally resurfaced. Apologies again to the early events that missed out on getting their gigs hyped. Also, please note the article was written as of last week and will be updated next week to incorporate all of the events that have been posted in the meantime plus June events, which were erroneously cut off. Thanks, all.

Thanks to everyone whom has applied, and good luck to everyone playing in Regionals this weekend! The front page article will be updated (pending any further IT fails on my part :cross:) and the schedule will reflect all events in the system as of today.

In case you are wondering, you can play 2E Virtual format in Germany, 1E Legacy in Michigan, or Standard in either place. It is a great time to play 'trek. Get out there and enjoy the games! :cheersL:

Have you applied for a Regional? No? What are you waiting for? The latest schedule update should go live tonight (pending any unforeseen issues) and I had to ask myself... where's the Online gigs? Where's the Russian event? Or the Aussies Regional parties? It isn't too late to apply, folks! Get your applications in to your respective Continental Coordinators (or me if you don't have one) and lets get it done! :cheersL:
