Yesterday's event was fun, but it was definitely compressed. I'd like to get a slightly earlier start, and keep things flowing so that the downtime between rounds is as short as possible.

There are a number of ways to achieve this... but I'd like to get a sense of what makes sense for everyone, since wrapping up late on a Sunday would make travel more difficult for many.

Right now, I'm targeting somewhere in the October area, I think...

Sundays tend to be better for me; if I have a weekend off, that generally means I'm working overnight on Friday.

But late August to early November is volleyball season (my wife is a coach for her school), so October wouldn't work in general.

That's fair... I also want to distance the event from Worlds weekend, so October might be out anyway. I just didn't want to run into Thanksgiving, because that's a whole other nightmare.
