Spaceborne Entity

1. How is it determined which of "my" ships is attacked first?

2. The CRD States- When a card is attacking both player's cards, it does so as two seperate battles. The players whose turn it is chooses which happens first.

3. But, that still doesn't answer the complete question..... Against my ships, does the attacks happen simultaneously?

the glossary wrote:battle – ship – multiple targets – Borg
Ship dilemmas and Borg-affiliation ships
with a Multiplexor Drone aboard are
allowed to fire WEAPONS against two or
more targets in the same battle. This
expands the fire (or return fire) portion of
the battle into two or more engagements.
Each engagement has only one target, but
it is possible to have multiple cards firing
upon that target.
Compute separate ATTACK and DEFENSE
totals for each engagement, repeatedly
using the appropriate bonuses from each
player’s current tactic each time. In other
words, each player is limited to one current
tactic for the battle, but it will apply to each
engagement.
If your multiplexed Borg ship scores a hit
(or direct hit) against two or more targets
and your current tactic has a symbol,
use that card as the damage marker for
one of those targets (your choice) and treat
that symbol as for damage to each
remaining target. All damage markers
drawn from your side deck must be placed
on the hit targets randomly, without looking
at the markers before placing them; choose
a ship, draw and place the markers for it,
choose another ship, and so on.
Because ships and facilities destroyed in
battle are not discarded until the end of the
battle, you cannot retrieve any damage
markers from targets at -100% HULL
integrity to use in separate engagements of
the same battle.

Here is the scenario Jeremy and I are trying to figure out Jon -

If I have Federation Flagship: Recovered seeded and I pull up to a mission with both [Fed] and [NA] icons with my Mercenary Ship and a U.S.S. Excelsior

The Spaceborne Entity is revealed then I am hard stopped by the next dilemma. The Spaceborne Entity then starts its attack on the ships at the mission. Which ship is attacked first or are they both attacked at the same time ?

Federation Flagship: Recovered would be able to save my last ship being destroyed because it would be my only ship left in play - I guess I am just confused as to when one ship would blow up first or if it is actually a simultaneous blow up ??

By reading the glossary entry that you posted - I think I am understanding that ships blow up at the same time at the very end of my turn. Am I correct ?

Ah but may both ships return fire in both engagements? That's where it looks muddled to me. (This is why I don't play battle.)

no, the return multiplexed style effect only alters one phase of the battle. So if I attacked you, my firing phase is divided into multiple engagements, but the return fire phase is still one mass shot back (just step 5 of the ship battle rules is altered, step 6 stays the same). If a ship that may attack multiple targets is attacked then only step 6 is altered.
