Me too, but Decipher did it, and it is sooooo hard to change rules that have been around as long as this one has.
Well at least I no longer feel alone about this, thanks James!

Yes - to the original print. The point is that the Referee Reprint version is still showing the pre-errata card. It needs to be fixed. (Just look at the errata pdf - the two versions of Wake have different text - the one from Blaze of Glory is correct.)

The gametext was updated to reflect the change but not the card photo. The Blaze of Glory errata version was made in February 2020 but not the Referee Reprints version. I reported this in the forum in February. Charlie said this was an oversight. The errata to the Referee Reprints card was made the following month. Unfortunately, the update to the card photo on its database page has not been made as it still shows the first errata version of the card.

As I understand it, the use of quotes around stopped has been retired.

Correct. We are no longer printing "stopped" even on reprints, as it's functionally identical to stopped. (We've been doing the same thing with IKS vs IKC on Klingon ships.)

A card is "related" to a given term if the card uses that term (or normal word form variations) in its title, lore, icon, or gametext.

Does this mean Anaphasic Organism and Secret Identity should have the "male-related dilemma" keyword?
that would make things messy with voy and non-voy Matriarchal Society

Capturing-related: This refers to any card that:
  • captures personnel (for instance, Thine Own Self);
  • prevents, affects, or is triggered by capture or escort (Fajo's Gallery) ;
  • specifically affects captives (Torture); or
  • names a card that does one of those things (Gul Madred)
https://www.trekcc.org/op/1e_rulebook/G ... lated-card
capturing-related card
This phrase includes any card that:
  • captures personnel or prevents their capture;
  • specifically affects captives or allows them to be used in any way; has an effect when a captive is taken or escorted; or
  • has an effect when a captive is taken or escorted.
  • In addition, any card whose gametext downloads, nullifies, or modifies a card which meets any of the above criteria (specified by title), is also a capturing-related card

I'm not 100% sure I understand the "capturing-related" rules, but I believe the following cards should have the "Capturing-related" flag: There's also Lonzak who is worth points for a captive present, but since that captive doesn't have to be "taken or escorted" for him to be worth points, I am not sure if he should have the "Capturing-related" flag. He also doesn't "affect captives" (rather, they affect him).

By the way, the glossary mentions "has an effect when a captive is taken or escorted" twice.

Any idea when the card photo on the Referee Reprints database page for The Wake of the Borg will be changed to the second errata version to agree when the gametext on the page?

So - links on [KCA] personnel to "Alliance" personnel aren't always relevant. Emblem of the Alliance only cares about named-in-lore if one of them is a leader.

Taymar Bern has Professor Sisko as "Alliance" next to the Intendant. Well, both versions of the Intendant have Leadership so are 'leaders'; Professor Sisko has neither OFFICER nor Leadership so should not be considered such. This might need to be addressed.
