As a Tribbles side deck fan, I find the 1 too annoying to use. It's not *that* powerful (in that the opponent can pretty easily play around it), but it just adds a layer of dickery that I don't find fun.
Fortunately, it's not only unnecessary to play a 1 to get the higher tribbles, the deck works better by not having them. And the rest are just little mini-dilemmas and mini-events. It's a fixed Q Flash, IMO - something to trip up speed decks a bit.

However, their psych-out factor is wayyyyyyy higher than their actual power level, so they are still well worth using from time to time.
