it seems a huge advantage to leave the alpha and do stuff on a short spaceline. it weakens a lot of dilemma and reduces interaction even further.

what does punish short quads?

sheliak got nerfed to unplayability and is likely to miss the target especially on short spacelines. can also just shoot it. might as well never been unbanned.

same with borg ship, since it doesnt attack everything anymore

Actually, Borg Ship on a spaceline of 1 is still pretty deadly, just need a wall to ensure it hits.

Radioactive Garbage Scow on a spaceline of 1 is a lock out.

As long as it's the OG scow.

Combo Scow can get nuked by Renewed Spirit

Sheliak + Bij? Could that be a thing?
It is. :shifty:

I never got it to ping, but it definitely had some folks scrambling.

Also, I NEVER had trouble finding a place to put it on the spaceline where it wouldn't stop at the original mission.

its sad that sometimes it is solitair, especially if its not intended by either player and they just choose 2 different quadrants.

Half the time because no one attempted the mission it was at. The other half was because we were at the end of the game and it was their last mission.

so what you are saying is, there was never a reason to nerf it in the first place :D

Besides i come to the conclusion nothing punishes leaving alpha.
