not exactly sure what to do with dont provoke.
at first i thought it was an attempt to make borg ship dilemma playable again, but its encountering players choice :?

Don't Provoke lets you seed borg ship dilemma right before it and score 10 points.

So I guess that makes it playable again, at the risk of the Borg Ship dilemma being relocated to take out your own ships. Hunker down at the outpost if your opponent's going to be attempting space missions?

No risk if your opponent is playing in a different spaceline though. Seems like that's a free 10 points for [1E-DQ] decks, sadly. Also good against Borg opponents, since you can choose to not seed the Borg Ship dilemma in that case and still earn the points.

Wow, I initially misread Don't Provoke...I thought it said the opponent can relocate, not the encountering player. That's good I suppose since the first combo that popped into mind would be Amoeba+Borg Ship+*new* Q. That would basically be an instakill on any ship, more or less.

I get why it's balanced now, bc I was initially like woooooohowdy.

Yeah I had that deck built in my head about 30 seconds after reading the card.

...Then I read it a second time and I was like "Oh. Wait."

But yeah, that would open the door for some stupid levels of brokenness so it's probably better that they worded the card as they did.... :twisted:

I would say it's not easy to guarantee a kill ship. This would have all but sealed it.

For the first one. Captain with a capt log, plasmadyne relay, ablative armor.

The second, a super crew would probably do it.
