Just confirming Luther Sloan can be reported to any planet, compatible outpost/HQ/station/site on the space line? either by standard play or download with say defend homeworld?

Can he show up on an opponents ship also?

When a card allows a personnel to report "anywhere," it must be aboard a ship or facility, or on a planet surface. You may not report that personnel off the spaceline or timeline (such as to a Penalty Box) or into space.

So yes, it is legitimate to use Defend Homeworld to download him on your opponents (empty) ship and immediately use Commandeer Ship.

'Off the spaceline or timeline', which means you can report him at a time location. Just not off of it.

Time locations are planet locations as well, they are just not planet MISSIONS.


In essence: He can be reported anywhere where personnel can exist normally.

Also, if you have Galactic Army Of Light in play, it limits Luther Sloan's report to Hostage Crisis, though he can report to any otherwise legal report location at that mission.

GAOL text is basically a can't report anywhere else which overrides Luther's can report anywhere.

I would say, that Galactic Army Of Light forbids him to play anywhere. The card strictly says, you cannot play other cards except . And Luther lacks of the icon.
