It's been a week folks, so my question from yesterday is late. Don't forget that it's Worlds weekend, so make sure you follow us on Twitter or Facebook for photos and the latest news from the UK.

Today's question is which of the 10 prime universe movies is still underrepresented in First Edition? 4 movie expansions have come and gone, but which films do you think we've "left on the table"? You can vote for any or all of the films in this poll. And in addition to voting, let us know what you would like to see.

Have a great weekend!

Insurrection.

There's probably metrics for this, and they probably spell "The Motion Picture", but I'm going with my heart.

The issue with the movies is they have the big set pieces, SFX, star power, etc. But you are really going to have trouble not being super Fed heavy. And even if you make a movie villains set TMP and IV don't give you much to work with...

Maybe we just lean into it and get it out of our system. A set that's nothing *but* ten bridge crews.

My answer is The Voyage Home. There are plenty of characters still to make and some awesome quotes to turn into cards, such as:

"Everybody remember where we parked."

"Did you see that?!"
"No, and neither did you, so shut up."

"Are you from outer space?
"No ma'am, I'm from Iowa. I only work in outer space."

"Doctor gave me a pill and I grew a new kidney!"

"You guys like Italian?"

Just on card titles alone there is so much that can be done from STIV!

All the movies have a lot of dilemmas, objectives, incidents, doorways and events that are ready to be mined out of them and it's honestly just a lack of imagination on the part of design. I think design is doing is doing a good job...they are just leaving a lot on the table bc apparently they care more about making sub faction after sub faction instead of making lots more creative cards. Way more Retrieve Stolen material and way less "nameless faction jobber number 5".

Agreed. But you have to have at least a few personnel in the set*. 8)

Star Trek VI.

Half the ST6 Stuff in the Motion Pictures had Voyager logos. All well for Kang and his ship, but what about Captain Sulu?

Praxis is undeveloped, as are whodunnit capers aboard ship... Rura Penthe is all Enterprise-d up.... I bet there's some good stuff to be had there.

We literally just got one. So I have no idea what you are talking about. The issue to me is the antiquated carryover of this idea that "star power" means personnel. A full size (45+ cards) set doesn't need 1/3 personnel. It's just done that way bc of, idk subconscious desire to feel traditional and/or legitimate?
