#640646
Hello,
first of all, I would like to thank the team behind "Premiere Remastered" for pulling me back into the game after more than eight years of complete abstinence, and of course i will thank all the others who are involved in the CC. Very good work! For a few weeks now I have been updating my game card database (lists of new sets, update old ones, errata, etc) and I noticed quite a few errors on the site that I would like to share here with you, now.
I'm sure you know some of them and it's difficult and understandable to have or keep an overview, or simply to have the personnel resources to keep everything up to date, but since I have a very good one about the 1E game card pool right now, I'll just try to share my knowledge, and what I noticed here. I hope I don't make too much work for anyone to fix the errors ;) I would do it myself, but as I said, I have just come back to it lately and am a bit timid to actively participate in the structures of the CC as a volunteer.
I would like to apologize in advance if the list here seems a bit nerdy. I'm very much in my element right now and probably live out some of my autistic compulsions to have to create order ;)
I'm also very happy about the new errata marking for "Versioning and Card Number Preservation" even if the handling in the "Remastered"-sets is not so clear to me yet, because there have probably been some inconsistencies here in the past, too(?) (But I don't want to go into that at all, because that would go beyond the scope of this posting.)

Errata-history on the website

Personally, I think, the link to a Complete 1E errata file should not be specified here at all, if not absolutely necessary. The current complete "Virtual Errata File" can be viewed on the main page. In the history only the files in which the card appeared for the first time should be listed, but that's just my opinion ;)
So, due to various inconsistencies about the handling of the errata chronics on the website, I would suggest to give two (or more) πŸ”— links for one entry of a certain card from different sets, if they where published/revised at different times (but date the first one for sure). So, that's why I'll just add the second link and pretend that this is already the case, because it seems much easier to me that way. I'd like to show what I mean with "The Wake of the Borg".

  1. Virtual Promos - Temporal Shifting
  2. Virtual Promos - Bajoran Wormhole: Mirror Universe
    • The file is missing for VP version. Same problem as before, a second link is needed for
πŸ”—complete_1e_errata_2020-02-02.pdf where the VP version appears for the first time.
  3. Virtual Promos - Maxwell Forrest
    • File for VP not found
  4. The Next Generation: Supplemental - Sunad
    • The file is missing for TNG:S revision. Same problem as before, a second link is needed for
πŸ”—complete_1e_errata_2020-02-02.pdf where the TNG:S version appears for the first time
    • In the "Alternate Prints" its shown the Second Edition Version, but it should not i think?!
  5. Premiere - Female's Love Interest
    • I think the date should be the release date of the Voyager set (2001-05-23) when the card the first time get an updated version, right? (not 2011-11-07 of the "complete_2011-11-07_MAY1eed_hires.pdf" -file)... but I'm not sure because in "Premiere Traditional" the corrected card-versions of the Voyager-Set were not taken into account, only Premiere95, Reflection and TwT- Starter, so I'm not sure how you weight that. But I would do so.
  6. Premiere - Male's Love Interest
  7. First Contact - Ready Room Door
    • "Ready Room Door" (FC) had also a revision when Voyager came out, the "after use" was changed to "after any use", so I would do an entry and link
  8. (Free) Warp Pack / Alternate Universe - Yellow Alert
    • The date 2012-09-07 also can not be right because the revision was made before 2011-11-07. This is just the "Room Door" rev-date... so..."before 2011-11-07" or simply empty/no date
  9. Alternate Universe - Senior Staff Meeting
    • The date 2012-09-07 also can not be right because the revision was made before 2011-11-07. This is just the "Room Door" rev-date... so..."before 2011-11-07" or simply empty/no date
  10. The Dominion - ❖ Primary Supply Depot
  11. The Dominion - ❖ Remote Supply Depot
  12. Enterprise Collection - Starfleet Phaser Pistol
    • In the file for 2010-09-06 SECURITY was still written in small letters, so it need an additional revision date:
    • 2010-09-06 | Added [22] icon, which would soon be relevant to gameplay. | link is right.
  13. The Next Generation - Strategic Base
  14. Alternate Universe - Devidian Door
    • The wrong file is linked for 2018-02-05. If an original file can no longer be found, (if ever existed) then empty/no link, or maybe:
      πŸ”—complete_1e_errata_2020-02-02.pdf
  15. Live Long and Prosper - IDIC: Power of the High Command
    • The right file is missing for 2018-11-05 version. If an original file can no longer be found, (if ever existed) then empty/no link, because 2019-09-09 is redundant to complete_1e_errata_2020-02-02.pdf
  16. Blaze of Glory - Victory Is Life
  17. Straight and Steady - Akorem Laan
    • The wrong file is linked here for 2018-02-05. If an original file can no longer be found, (if ever existed) then empty/no link, or

2010-07_NineNerfs.pdf (Maybe careless mistake when entering the date of Oof! from the same file as well as for all subsequent cards from the errata file 2010-07)
Nerd-theorie, maybe wrong, but seems valid to me: At the release of Referee Reprints 2008-11-19, Oof! (RR) was getting the Referee icon only. Than, two years later, 2010-07-08 (2010-07_NineNerfs.pdf) Oof! (DS9) was getting point box revision (+refree icon) to match the Amanda Rogers, Q2 and Kevin Uxbridge revisions. But first only for DS9 version, and Oof! (RR) was getting that revision in 2010-09-07, two moth later (2010-09-15_RefereeReprints+2VP.pdf) with the revision of the whole RR-file. So in that period of time it seems to me the original "Standard Resolution" download of the Referee Reprints (2008) has been deleted or at least can no longer be reached via the website (maybe still on the server?). The first virtual prints of RR are thus officially extinguished, and its new revisions has no Errata markings, so seems not to count as revisions but for the chronic this may still be relevant. To mask these change or just because of unknown, Amanda Rogers, Q2 and Kevin Uxbridge revisions was not getting the right dates of that changes for 2010. Maybe because just of confuse years later. SO... the rev entry 2008-11-19 for Amanda Rogers and Kevin Uxbridge is wrong, and also the date of Q2. All of them are changed 2010-07-08 as well as Oof! To match them. Also in the complete_1e_errata-FILES there never have had versions of the RR-Cards before 2010. So... just for transparency and unconfusing historie... :

  18. Deep Space 9 - Oof!
    Referee Reprints - Oof!
    • The link 2008-11-19 should be empty as it is now, or lead to the original RR-file from 2008 if anywhere.
  19. Premiere - Amanda Rogers
    • The link for 1999-10-04 should be empty I think and 2008-11-19 is wrong because it was the release of Referee Reprints. The correct date should be 2010-07-08, and link is

  28. Unfinished revision entry - Premiere Remastered - Covert Rescue
    • 2025-01-31 | "Scoutship" to "scout ship" in Premiere Remastered, so its " (Corrected)" too, right?
  29. Unfinished revision entry - Premiere Remastered - Kareel Odan
    • 2025-01-31 | Gender "male" erased
  30. Unfinished revision entry - Premiere Remastered - ❖ Taitt

  36. Unfinished revision entry - Premiere Remastered - Palor Toff: Alien Trader
    • "Replaced hyphen in title with colon" is wrong, this card has no 2025-01-31 revision at all. Title has been changed 2023-07-03
  37. Premiere - The Juggler
    • 1995-06-01 | Typo: Lwaxana's name misspelled in Lore in Alpha printing. | No link or link to 95 card

Card description and list overview on the page
  1. Premiere Traditional - The Juggler
    • In the list overview, the title of "The Juggler" should have a " (Corrected)"
  2. Premiere Traditional - Palor Toff: Alien Trader
    • In the list overview, the title was changed, although in "Premiere Traditional" it must be a hyphen. 131 TC | "Palor Toff: Alien Trader" must be "Palor Toff - Alien Trader" like "Armus - Skin of Evil"
  3. Premiere Traditional - ❖ J'Ddan
    • In the list overview, the title of 262 TC "❖ J'Ddan" should be "❖ J'Dan (Corrected)"
  4. Official Tournament Sealed Deck Remastered - Spacedoor (Alt Image) (Reverse side)
    • In the list overview, 7 V Spacedoor (Alt Image) (Reverse side), (Alt Image) is obsolete, because of (Reverse side)
  5. Dogs of War - Odo
    • In the list overview, 31 V "Odo" should have a second (Alt Image) link for [Fed] version.
  6. Q Continuum - The Naked Truth
    • "The Naked Truth" is a (C) Common and not an (U) Uncommon. A mistake that surprised me very much, after so many years in which this site exists and no one notices it yet. :D
    • Also in the title of the list overview it says "Q Continuum contains: 122 cards (40 C, 41 R, 41 U)"
      But it is (41 C, 41 R, 40 U), or to be exact:
      1x C4 + 38x C3 + 1x C2 + 1x C1 = 121 Card Press sheet /
      40x U3 + 1x U1(R1) = 121 Card Press sheet /
      1x R4 + 39x R3 = 121 Card Press sheet.
"Data's Body" (U-Slot) was on the sheet with the U-cards, but only once (U1) so this card is as rare as the other R, exept of "Mortal Q" of course which is a R4. "Q-Flash" is the C4 and the two "Amanda's Parents" cards are C1 and C2.
  7. Deep Space 9 - ❖ Nor
    • The second location for the opponent is not in the description.
  8. Q Continuum - Amanda's Parents C1
    • its written: "... opponent may take that Amanda Rogers... " like on the card
    Q Continuum - Amanda's Parents C2
    • its written: "... opponent may place that Amanda Rogers... " unlike on the card

Remastered-Errata and Questions, And Errors on playing cards themselves, which perhaps should be corrected

"Enterprise Collection" has no errata-file,
"Enterprise Collection Remastered" simply overwrites "Enterprise Collection" in function as errata-file.
"Official Tournament Sealed Deck" has errata-images on the page, but no file is found of them(why?), so
"Official Tournament Sealed Deck Remastered" is the only file-version.
"The Motion Pictures" has an errata-file "2022-06-24_TMP.pdf" and in addition
"The Motion Pictures Remastered" as a nother Set version
"Premiere", again has no errata-file
"Premiere Remastered" simply overwrites in function as errata-file.
  1. Enterprise Collection - Charles Tucker III
    • The entry is not right, this change was made for Homefront II in 2011, so it has to be:
    • 2018-10-26 | "Chief" is written in small letters now, but only for the "Enterprise Collection Remastered" version.
    • 2011-08-06 Template corrections, directly adding [22] icon instead of relying on a rule, and lore extension for remastering.
  2. Homefront II - Charles Tucker III
    • Has no revision for "Chief", but seems ok for these minor corrections.?!
  3. Q Continuum/Reflections - Taris
    • Only "Warbird" was changed to "warbird", right? So why is the Reflections version original shown? Do I overlook something?
  4. The Next Generation: Supplemental - K'Temoc
    • What is the revision for TNG:S?
  5. Tournament Foils - Edo Probe
    • Why the foil gets the revision and not the original foil is shown?
  6. First Contact - Lack of Preparation
    • The comma after nav-drone-icon is missing
  7. I had already posted the error on the card "❖ I.K.C. K'Vort (Premiere Traditional)", here is the link again:

Thank you!

Currently, all the errata-related issues (which is most of them) fall to me. I am almost certainly the source of all errata-related errors. I am not certain when I will get a chance to tackle them, but hopefully in the next few weeks. At that time, I'll go through them one by one. (I only skimmed tonight.) I suspect that a few of these are because the original file is genuinely missing (or, in some cases, never existed), but I'll be able to say more when I go through.
