Or you can type a % before all of their names. Lackey can't do the Universal icon, and is programed to have the % symbol instead.

A few posts up, I argued that I would prefer if the names for universal personnel should not have the % as it is counter intuitive. Jason argued the opposite as he stated that the % made it easier to search all universals.
I have been thinking to remove that % from the names, but have, at least for the time being, decided not to do this, since:

- it is easy to search for the card title using the left hand search, "name contains" is also the default setting for the top one there, so it is just a matter of which field you click and start typing in.

- % makes it easy to search for universal - otherwise you would have a more or less boolean field which is really mostly a lot of extra information in the database for nothing.

- changing a card name in Lackey will remove that card from all decks (it is the card identifier, hence "*" or "*FC" etc on some cards with same actual title), so I try to avoid changing name of cards as far as possible. Changing all universal cards would most likely "destroy" most peoples saved decks, so not a good idea for obvious reasons.

I'm for the %. In addition to Scox points, I am of the opinion that it is actually intuitive. I think of universal cards as being organized by the ❖ before the name when choosing cards for a deck. Unlike most unique recognizable characters I don't remember many of their names. I think of them more as "Stellar Cartography Mission Specialist" or "NA Lady with SCIENCE and MEDICAL." Listing universal personnel separate with % makes more sense to me.

Oh, I see where you're coming from. Don't use the Search field above the table! Use the fields on the left for everything. Switch [ON] [Name] [Contains]. It will find your cards with any part of the name.

Here's another question: How do you set up your battle bridge and/or Q-Flash side decks? I'm looking at my deck builder screen and there don't seem to be tabs for them, yet they do show up on right hand menu on the solitare window.

In Lackey, the Game itself allows more "Zone" tabs then the Deck Editor. Put all your extraneous side deck cards in Aside when building your deck. When you begin a game move them to the correct "Zone" tab.

Thanks Timo :)

I haven't finished building my deck yet, but I just tried to connect to the server as a test just to make sure that I could. It kept saying that I was receiving "unknown message: 25" Any idea what that's about? Might it be because I didn't have a deck loaded?

I got this message too. There is a new version of Lackey that came out on 28 Jan, you need to update to this version. Just download the .zip and copy the LackeyCCG.exe file into your LackeyCCG folder so that you don't lose any of your settings.

Not so often in the chat room - I usually pm the regular players in the monthly tournaments. Perhaps we could setup some registry of players...

Sounds ace. I know a few communicate via Skype too, which might be a good place to 'store' one another?
