Congratulations to all the league playoff qualifiers! Surviving eight tournaments across several disciplines to earn a qualifying mark in this the most prestigious league is truly an achievement, even if no forum badge will be awarded for it. As we close out the second half of league play in Minnesota, all eyes now turn to the league playoffs, which are set to begin on February 11th with a final installment of Wednesday game night at FFG. If you can make it out for another dose of gamesmanship and debauchery with your favorite nerds and zookeepers alike, please pre-register here. It's the T2E Tough Enough League, and it's playoff season... and you gotta be there! :cheersL:

Good Evening 'Trek Fans!

As we turn the calendar over to February, the T2E Tough Enough league playoffs take center stage in this The Land of 10,000 Champions. Beginning with a final installment of Wednesday night game night at Fantasy Flight Games Event Center on February 11th, nerds, zookeepers, and nerdy zookeepers alike will throw down a Tribbles Battle Royale for the ages as our 8 league playoff qualifiers seek to take an early lead in the standings as we head down the home stretch of "off-season" league play. If you would like to partake in the festivities, pre-registration is available here.

From there, the members that make up the Frozen Chosen will hone their limited format skills at War Games, a 2nd Edition Academy Constructed event happening inside MN's newest tournament venue, Fallout Shelter Arcade in Minneapolis. Commencing Saturday February 28th, league contenders from far and wide will set their rare collections aside to trade shots with only common, starter, and virtual offerings in this intriguing format that is bound to send some league championship contenders to detention while others leapfrog to the head of the class. If you would like to engage the enemy in this gig, pre-registration is available here.

It's T2E Entertainment, it's the league playoffs, and you gotta... be... THERE!

Just a reminder that the next playoff event is this coming Saturday, February 28th, starting at 1:00 PM.

This will be 2E Academy format - any missions, plus common (C), starter (S), and virtual (V) rarity only. VP is not allowed except for ones that are reprints/AI of cards of that rarity. For example: These Are The Voyages is a reprint of a common from In a Mirror, Darkly. Manufactured Triumph is an AI of another virtual card. Grav-Plating Trap is a reprint of a rare and therefore not allowed.

Here's a link to the tournament listing.

If you need more info or more specific directions for getting to Fallout Shelter Arcade, let me know and I'll be glad to give you the rundown from where you're coming from. For most people, I suggest taking 35W to Stinson Blvd in NE Minneapolis. After exiting the freeway, head south on Stinson to Kennedy St and turn left at the stop light, then the building is two short blocks east on Kennedy at Taft St (on your right). Street parking is available pretty much any place on Taft outside the building or up and down that street if it's busy.

When you get there, enter through door 40 with the Fallout Shelter Arcade banner on the railing, then follow the yellow signs inside downstairs to suite L4. We will be playing in the Pilot Lounge connected to the main room.

Is there any word on the last two events? It's getting down to the wire, and I'd need to put in for the time off.

Loosely they are scheduled for late March. As my preference is a final double stack tournament, I will try to get the official date nailed down this weekend once I have a chance to discuss it with Justin.

Good Evening 'Trek Fans!

As the Ides of March come rolling in, all eyes in The Land of 10,000 Champions turn their focus to Superbrawl, the T2E Tough Enough final league playoff extravaganza! As our collective 6-month "offseason" journey comes to an end, our final destination is once again Fantasy Flight Games Event Center in Roseville for an action packed day of gaming coming to the airwaves in a little over two weeks on March 21st. Starting promptly at 10 a.m. with a Second Edition event, combatants will test their mettle in a three tournament free-for-all spanning each of the constructed disciplines: 2E Standard, 1E OTF, and Tribbles!

Pre-registration has just come online, and from the looks of things current league playoff frontrunner Jeremy "The Razor" Benedict will be putting his win streak on the line in our first match of the night. Nipping closely at his heels is last year's league winner Kris "The Old Pro" Sonsteby, who has also already signed on for double duty. But who else will be on hand to stake their claim to the league championship crown? Will Barry "The Genius" Windschitl once again crossover to the First Edition side and trade shots with our resident 1E guru, "Heavy Metal" James Heaney? Will the Brothers Grim, Ben "Mankind" Johnson and Rylee "The Golden Boy" Johnson, make their presence felt and walk away with tag team gold? Or will Money, Inc. charter members Matt "The Original Champion" Frid and his sidekick Henry "The Chosen One" Frid crash the party and play kingmaker? Tune in to find out!

It's T2E Entertainment, it's the finale of the league playoffs, and you gotta... be... THERE!
