I have been keeping track of the decks that have been played at Regionals this year and thought I'd share. If it goes well I will try and update eack week for the entire regional season.

Please feel free to discuss and keep it friendly :)

Based on your analyses, what are your predictions for the Kazon Collective regionals?

Thanks for doing this, Steve. My only feedback (since it is still early in the season) would be to also track 2-mission win decks, as these seem to be popular again. I can't back that up for certain, but tournament reports I have read indicate they are being both played en masse and have won a few gigs. As always, keep up the good work! :cheersL:

If I have missed any key strategies let me know and I will update the list.

What's been winning (week 1-3):

[Baj] Two (50 point) mission with discard theme and attribute pumping (standard attrition dilemma pile)

[Dom] Draft

[DS9-E] Three mission with Jaresh Inyo and kill prevention (standard attrition dilemma pile)

[Kli] Three mission with strength missions (Unfair Comparison skill heavy dilemma pile)

[Rom] Three mission with strength missions (medical themed dilemma pile)

[TNG] Two mission with Cadets (standard attrition dilemma pile)

[TOS] Two mission with Field Studies (Tragic Turn dilemma pile)

[TOS] Three mission with Aid Legendary Civilization (Outmatched supersized dilemma pile)

[TOS] Three mission with battle (damage dilemma pile)

I predicted last year would be the Year of the Two Mission Win. Looks like my prophecy was a year early. My ds9 two mission was the only good deck I brought to corbettcon last month. My dumbass thought that was the "C deck".

Just so you know, there's an app for 2 mission decks in MoT.

Pivotal Destiny was used in the second place deck at the Illinois regional... but the first place deck had many avenues to achieving 10 more points (and may not have faced the dilemma from a 49 card dilemma pile, considering it went planet-first).
