2014 Twin Cities Regionals Weekend kicks off on Saturday, May 31st with the 2E and Tribbles Regionals!

Second Edition will start at 11:00 AM, one hour after the store opens. Based on previous years' attendance the plan is 5 rounds, but any changes will be announced before the event begins.

Tribbles will start around 7:00 PM.

Tournament fee is $5 for either or both events to cover prize support costs. Please remember that deck lists are required for all Regional events. Please bring them with you or have them readily available online if needed. Food and drinks are available from the store's cafe or from nearby restaurants (no outside food allowed in the store). If you haven't been playing with us since last fall, please note that the store location is now one block south of its former location, now on County Road B2 across from the post office.

Also make sure not to miss Sunday's 1E Regional hosted by local Ambassador Justin Kaufman! Don't miss an epic weekend of Trek, all leading up to this July's Continentals in Minnesota, and then to Worlds at GenCon 2014!

The crown jewel of Regional season is only a few short weeks away. Will 'the streak' continue as no player has ever won this event more than once in it's 12 year history, or will a former Champion reclaim the throne? Tune in to MinnMania in just under 2 weeks to find out! You gotta be there!

Oh gawd... so we could have 4 former World Champions in a 12 player field? Talk about a meat grinder... :shifty:

Matthew brought to my attention that the link in the top post was copied/pasted with an error that caused anyone to click on it to be automatically un-registered from the tournament. With assist from Mael pointing out the error in the link, I've corrected and updated the post.

Apologies to anyone this may have affected, and as always even if you don't pre-register you are welcome to join us.

First update of the day: 12 players are entrenched in round 1 at present with The Old Pro serving as newly minted T.D. At quick glance I see a good amount of Fed, but there are several other powers in play too, including a dual HQ. Stay tuned...

Congrats to Kevin Jaeger for his 2E win today with a unique dual-HQ deck that bested all challengers! Also congrats to Justin Kaufman for taking the Tribbles crown from a field of nine. Many laughs were had and good times all around! Tune in tomorrow to see who takes the 1E title!
