My fascination with has proven a lot more prominent here on forum, than my -- at times equally great! -- love for, e.g., and .
And certainly, the Borg are more difficult to play.

For the record: recently, this -- finally -- happened (even in a 2e kind-of-way!)... and during that adventure,

I decided that I must create this-here resource/reference chart for myself. Hopefully other people have use for it, too!

I always thought it was neat that putting drones in alphabetical order of their name also put them in alphabetical order of their function.

I imagine it's a headache for Design these days though trying to squeeze drones into certain places on the alphabet.

I mainly noticed it because I used to sort all personnel of an affiliation by name in my binders, an with all the Borg together in alphabetical order, it pops right out that they're also in another alphabetical order.

If I sorted then like I do now (All of Premiere, all of AU, etc. all the way through Enterprise Collection), it may not have stood out as much.

Complete aside: if folks haven't read "How To" (the new book from the guy who draws xkcd), it is worth checking out. There is an entire chapter that's an interview with Chris Hadfield (Canadian astronaut and test pilot), that is simply the author throwing ever more improbable questions about "could you fly a plan if X" being answered with disturbingly matter of fact answers.
