where does the discard come from? hand, table, both?

why? it doesnt say so. it only explicity says discard three cards from hand (or discard one card from??)

as its currently worded you can (must?)(definitely discard a card in play. / you might even be able to discard an card from the opponents table

I'm not going to try to defend late Decipher era syntax - it's almost as bad as PAQ wording - but usually if you're discarding something from anywhere besides hand, it specifically says so.

I want to point out, that the glossary doesnt say discard defaults to hand discard. So this is more of a "we always played it that way" rule. Dilemma also dont refer to itself or table or seed. Meaning you could discard any dilemma from hand if an encoutered one asks for it.
