As a side note: this didn't come up because of an actual play situation, but rather because I was toying around with custom cards. Let's imagine there is a card that says "Plays on table if Deadwood is in play." Now, can you play the card if Deadwood is suspended by Frank Hollander?
Even though this is just a virtual problem at the moment, it could become genuine in the future.
