I feel like I must be missing something here but.......

Can I seed Smuggler's Rendezvous with Protect the Timeline on it, and also seed MACO Training Camp and used the camp's once per turn DL of Military Assault Command Operations to report the MACOs to Smuggler's Rendezvous?

So that would give me free plays of.........

PTT
and whatever MACOs I get with the MACO card (realizing that does cost my normal card play)

Maybe. Just remember, the more you junk up your deck with non-MACO stuff, the fewer MACOs you get per card play.

I think this could be a slightly slower yet slightly more resilient version of the Turbo MACO deck. Whether or not it's *better* is a matter of personal play style and metagame analysis which I will leave to the readers to assess for themselves.

what is "turbo maco"? I'm guessing the training 1 maco, then the event for 3 more, and pretty much all macos in the draw deck?

MACO is an odd group, because Niall basically published the optimal MACO deck the day after the set came out, and everything since then has just been variations on SF Stolen From A Space Scotsman.

This would be a nice little shakeup, though I dunno how good it is.

I was quite proud of it, actually having found it all by myself!
But during one of my recent games, my opponent recognized the mechanic. (Either having seen it used, or having used it themselves, they could advise me on it.)
So... I wasn't the only one, nor the first.
(Still nice to have found, though! )
