I was reading through the turn entry in the glossary when I noticed it still has the old wording of hyper-aging and Temporal Rift In an example.
Hyper-Aging: "Away Team... dies at the end of your third full turn." The subject is the player encountering the dilemma.
Temporal Rift: "Ship ... must reappear here after two of your full turns." The subject is the person who played the interrupt.
I thought I would bring this to the attention of people.

In the Glossary Capturing related entry, a phrase is duplicated.
capturing-related card
This phrase includes any card that:

captures personnel or prevents their capture;
specifically affects captives or allows them to be used in any way; has an effect when a captive is taken or escorted; or
has an effect when a captive is taken or escorted.

In addition, any card whose gametext downloads, nullifies, or modifies a card which meets any of the above criteria (specified by title), is also a capturing-related card
Disregard title and lore, ignoring the ordinary -related rule."

Examples of capturing-related cards include Thine Own Self, Ilon Tandro, Wolf, Brainwash, Rescue Captives, Impersonate Captive, Holding Cell Door, Fajo's Gallery, Gul Madred, and Madred.

Capture-related cards may still use captives.
Duplicated portion is green.

Not really a Problem, but do we want to consider pointing the Virtual Starter Decks link in the About This Game part of the rulebook to the Coming of Age starters rather than the TNG starters? Just a consideration?

Sorry, that one was supposed to be in the New Rulebook thread.

This thread's post was supposed to be:
Glossary: Responses
Likewise, Hugh is a valid response to the attack of a Borg Ship dilemma just encountered, because it nullifies that attack
Italicized portion should probably be "just initiated" since encountered has a different meaning with dilemmas and Borg Ship doesn't enter play where you encounter it anymore.

Fair point.

Probably what that thar needs is a whole new example, because I think it's important to the example that we're looking for a case where you can actually play a card during a mission attempt, specifically.

Unfortunately, the hardest part of writing the Rulebook (besides the dilemma resolution rules) is coming up with good illustrative examples that are valid with real cards but don't raise other questions.

OTOH, fortunately, there are plenty of cards that do explicitly play in response to certain dilemmas, so I just have to think of one. Hopefully one that's more interesting than "nullifies [named dilemma]."

(However consider this an opportunity to suggest any.)

The effect should be on the interrupt a la Wolf (or, more directly relevant, Cold Warriors).

I'm hoping for an effect that's a little more interesting than simple nullification, though. The point of the example is that you can do X to hide yourself from the battle but not Y to hide yourself from the battle, because X is a valid response and Y isn't. It's easy to come up with X for dilemma nullification, but harder to come up with a good Y to go with it. (Not sure that made sense.)

Something like that would make a good X. Now it needs to be paired with a good Y: a card that would remove Worf's skills/classifications (or remove him from play entirely), exception it works at "at any time" / [Int] speed, so it can't function during the mission attempt.
