several cards allow to download equipment, like Bareil or Ferengi Commerce Thingy or whatever.

Question:
Do I have to reveal the ENTIRE equipment card, when downloading them?

I would say I only have to show that it is an equipment card, but not WHAT card specifically it is.

(Of course, when downloading equipment in a specific manner, with, let's say, Empok Nor, I have to show the card, because the cards are specific to a site; so let's exclude those examples.)

When you download something you have to play it and when you play something you have to show the card.

There are exceptions but in your case it is true.
