Hi guys,

kind of a clarifiaction question ...

Equipment Replicator says 'once each turn'.
People I know (including me) have played this card in the fashion that they use card draws at start of turn to convert them to a download, however, I am not sure WHY.

Doesn't 'once each turn' usually, automatically, imply that the action can only be performed during the order phase of a game?

I am a bit puzzled ...

Each turn can happen anytume on your turn, but only on your turn

I see what you mean. Another way of putting your question might be: "Why can Equipment Replicator work in your plays phase but not Defend Homeworld?"

The simple answer is because Equipment Replicator says when on your turn it can work: "in place of a card draw." So, any card draw you make on your turn can trigger Equipment Replicator, but this is limited to once each turn.

Defend Homeworld does not say when you can do it on your turn. If a card doesn't say when on your turn you can do it (and it isn't an [Int] or [Door]), then it's an order and must be used during your order phase.

Does that explain it?
